Scholarships
To apply for either of the scholarships offered by the UCGC, please complete the following applications online. Graduating high school students participating in a current UCGC unit may apply for the Heather Christensen Scholarship. Anyone affiliated with a current UCCG unit in good standing may apply for the Sara Raymond Scholarship.
Submissions for 2027 scholarships will open in February.
Heather Christensen Scholarship Application
Written Response
Please upload a brief (250 word maximum per question) written answer to the following questions on a separate page.

Please tell us about yourself. What kind of scholastic, recreational, civic, employment, and family activities do you participate in?

Please tell us about your academic and career goals. In what ways will your color guard experience contribute to the successful realization of your goals?

(Optional) If you would like us to consider an obstacle to your goals that you have overcome or will face, such as financial hardship, family commitment, health, or disability, please describe it briefly. How has your experience in color guard helped you overcome obstacles?

Letters of Recommendation
Each applicant must submit two letters of recommendation highlighting the reasons you are an ideal candidate for this scholarship.

Solo Submission
Each applicant must submit a video of a solo that is choreographed and performed by them. 50% of the solo must incorporate color guard equipment with an overall length between 1 – 1.5 minutes.
Sara Raymond Scholarship Application
Written Response
Please upload a brief (500-word maximum) explanation as to why you should be considered for the UCGC Sara Raymond Scholarship and what your intentions are to further your education within the activity. (ex: qualities, talents, leadership, hardships, etc.).

In Memoriam
The Utah Color Guard Circuit is made of many amazing people. Unfortunately, some of those who have deeply touched our hearts and influenced our lives have left us. On this page, we pay tribute to those great people and all that they did for our circuit. We will miss you!
